Hidden Heroes and Sheroes Awards

The Hidden Heroes and Sheroes Community Event recognizes individuals in the community who have demonstrated leadership, initiative and commitment to improving the quality of life in our neighborhood.

Specifically, awards are given to individuals for their contributions in Neighborhood Leadership, Civic Leadership, Youth Leadership, and the “Millennium Award” which is an award presented to a community member who helps realize a goal indicated in the Millennium Project.

This annual “coming together” to celebrate the accomplishments of our neighbors is coordinated by the Codman Square Neighborhood Council and the Four Corners Action Coalition.  Rev. Bill Loesch established this event fifteen years ago.

The tradition of honoring our Hidden Heroes proves an excellent way to both recognize our leaders and provide $1,500.00 college scholarships for two high school seniors who have shown exceptional dedication to their community.
